Cape to City's Presentation from Crazy and Ambitious Conference Available Online

maxresdefault

Campbell Leckie, Project Chair for the Poutiri Ao ō Tāne and Cape to City projects gave an inspiring presentation about Cape to City at the Biological Heritage National Science Challenge’s Crazy and Ambitious conference in Wellington last month. A number of project team members attended the 3 day conference which drew its name from the late Sir Paul Callaghan who said of Predator Free New Zealand 2050’s goal, “It’s crazy and ambitious but I think it might be worth a shot.”
There is a ground swell of exciting and groundbreaking work going on as we work towards the 2050 goal.
It gives an overview about the big picture for biodiversity, some key levers we think that might potentially change the current downward trend in biodiversity, and some of the work happening in Cape to City and Poutiri Ao ō Tāne.
